LIVE Dynamic Interactive Presentations for Organizations, Corporations, & Health Care Providers

Invest In Your Greatest Asset—People.

LIVE Dynamic Interactive Training Programs for Individuals,

Organizations, Corporations, Schools, Universities, and Healthcare Providers.

America is experiencing a mental health crisis due to COVID-19, healthcare issues, financial burdens, inflation, racial tensions, climate change, the attack on the Capitol, gun violence, political conflicts, increased suicide rates, immigration challenges, sexual harassment, the opioid and heroin epidemic, genocide in Ukraine, the attack on Israel, the upcoming presidential election, and the list goes on.

In addition, we live in a zeitgeist where technology is advancing faster than people can adapt to it. We are experiencing information overload—being saturated with “streaming adversity.” Interpersonal face-to-face communication during times of challenge and change is being replaced by digital messaging, email, mobile apps, AI chatbots and companions, and online platforms. This has had a profound impact on individuals and organizations and has led to an increase in mental health disorders.

While artificial intelligence can improve some aspects of mental health, we must be cautious. AI offers valuable information and support but can't replace human connection, which is crucial for emotional wellness.

The World Health Organization called for new measures to tackle mental health issues at work. Today, there are actions that organizations can take to promote mental health, keep people functioning during challenging times, and improve productivity.

The National Center's Emotional Wellness presentations are live interactive programs with Dr. Mark Lerner, a clinical and forensic psychologist, author, international consultant, and Chairman of the National Center. Participants learn evidence-based strategies and acquire tools to foster their emotional wellness and the emotional wellness of others.

To be prepared for an organizational or workplace crisis, attendees can learn to implement Acute Traumatic Stress Management™ (Lerner & Shelton, 2005), a response protocol that aims to reach people early, during times of crisis, to ease emotional pain, keep people functioning, mitigate ongoing suffering, and restore human stability.

The National Center's presentations are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, organizations, corporations, schools, universities, and healthcare providers in our era of technological advancement and AI integration.

Acute Traumatic Stress Management™ (ATSM) was created by Dr. Mark Lerner who was called upon by the United Nations Department of Safety & Security to train United Nations mental health providers from around the world in New York and Paris, France. Dr. Lerner additionally presented the ATSM model for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Georgia and was additionally called upon and implemented ATSM with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the wake of September 11th. Dr. Lerner spearhead an Emotional Wellness initiative for Walgreens and has since presented the ATSM protocol in hospitals, for the pharmacy and pharmaceutical industries, for law enforcement and emergency response agencies, as well as for airlines, corporations, organizations, schools, and universities around the world.
